About Me

I'm a Theatremaker. For me , that means I am a Writer, Director and Performer.

A Black British-born Ghanaian cultivated by South London . My first foray  was stalking a Taekwondo club (I was pitting Karate vs. Taekwondo) that  I was too shared to join. The Sensei gave me a form about a youth theatre project for the summer. I came in being an introvert, then I did an improvisation where I was a demonic Texan elf who had ADHD with a dash of attachment issues and that was it really. I wanted to be a part of every aspect of the theatrical process in the annual Ovalhouse Theatre's Summer Musical of Labryrinth. I caught the silent, sweetest plague  - The Theatre Bug - and now I have never been happier.

My journey has taken me to writing for theatre giants such as The Royal Court, Directing at The Young Vic Theatre and performing at The National Theatre. I have been awarded by universities such as The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama , Roehampton University and been longlisted by BBC Writersroom. But more than these accolades, I have found a real desire to create work that stretches the imagination of all who watch. I want to work with people who have a desire to cultivate stories that are wild, seasoned and passionate. I want to create and recreate worlds on stage. As an artist, I want my work to always inspire - especially for people like me.
